๐ฆ How to switch your Openserve fibre line to Atomic #
Follow these steps to seamlessly migrate your Openserve Fibre line to Atomic:
Cancel Your Current ISP Service Notify your existing ISP of your intent to cancel by submitting a cancellation request. Notice periods may vary depending on your contract, typically requiring one calendar monthโs notice. Ensure your ISP provides written confirmation of the cancellation and the final service date. Your current ISP must do a Release Ownership order on the B-number that is associated with your fibre line.
Place Your Migration Order with Atomic Once you have the confirmed service end date, place an order for a Openserve migration with Atomic. Specify your desired start date for the new service. If the cancellation date changes, you can adjust the start date with us. Please provide us with your ONT Serial number and B-number, usually found on your Fibre Box (ONT), so that we can process the order. The ONT Serial will usually start with ‘ALCL’.
Early Migration (Optional) If you wish to switch before the notice period ends, have a look at the Urgent Migration section in this guide.
Prepare for Migration Openserve typically processes migrations at the end of each month. Atomic will notify you via email and SMS when the migration occurs, ensuring youโre informed. Upon migration, youโll need to:
If Atomic provided a new router, connect it as per the included instructions.
Please note: We will supply your new PPPoE details ahead of time, and Openserve has a grace period (5 days) where the fibre line is kept active after your old service is cancelled, so there should be no downtime, except for the time it takes to update the PPPoE details in your router.
Track Your Order After placing your order, use the order number to check the status at any time by contacting our Onboarding team.
